Patron saint festivities of Alaior: Saint Lawrence Festivities

A community with a festive reputation like Alaior expresses its spirit through two specific dates. The first is the popular festival of Sant Llorenç (Saint Lawrence), which reproduces all the chivalric tradition so deeply rooted throughout Menorca. And the second, the Carnival festivities represented by the figure of Bernat Figuerola. Regarding the Sant Llorenç festivities, which are the second weekend of August, they have distinguished themselves for the last twenty-five years by including a spectacular parade of floats on the Sunday of the festival.
